BUSINESS UNIT OBJECTIVE

BT Financial Group (BTFG) is the wealth management arm of Westpac Group; we aim to provide solutions for our customers in the creation and management of wealth. The SMSF Administration Team is responsible for the Customer Service Delivery of a new Investment platform offering for the Westpac Group. ‘Platform’ refers to the end to end customer experience, development and packaging of future product offerings, the underlying technology and how we service customers through multiple channels, brands and devices. We focus on building the future adviser and investor customer experience through external channels as well as integrating with the bank. Panorama has launched in the market and Customer Service Delivery has created a new service centre to manage all service functions. The Panorama team is responsible for voice and operational service for products within Panorama.

POSITION OBJECTIVE

A member of the Panorama SMSF Administration team, this position is responsible to the SMSF Senior Manager –and will provide expertise on all areas of Self Managed Super Fund establishment and administration within BT Financial Group with accountability for delivering a superior experience for our customers and members across all Panorama Products.
This position is responsible for:

  • Utilising your SMSF and/or operations experience you will identify, and help develop and implement strategic and tactical initiatives to deliver operational best practice in Self Managed Super Fund administration and establishment

  • Using all the research that the Panorama project team have produced, you will help develop and implement Customer Centric processes into the Panorama SMSF Teams.
  • Deliver to Key Performance Indicators that reflect the Hybrid nature of the teams, including some Contact Centre and Operational disciplines
  • With proven relationship management skills, you will work closely with Product to help enhance the Panorama platform Offering and Customer Service Proposition

  • With proven relationship management skills, you will build relationships with key external vendors to ensure the smooth operation of SMSF Administration.

  • You will be highly engaged and consistently deliver within a team environment
  • Participate in the SMSF Administration Team Meetings including input into deliverables and operating rhythm

Knowledge/Qualifications/ Experience

  • SPAA (or equivalent) qualifications or study toward (desirable)

  • Degree qualified (e.g. Accounting/Commerce) highly regarded
  • CPA or CA qualification highly regarded
  • Capability to solve complex issues in a dynamic, fast paced environment;
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Broad knowledge of wealth management industry, specifically Platform and Superannuation (desirable)
  • 2-5 years’ experience working in SMSF accounting (desirable)

Technology Capabilities

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel PowerPoint, Outlook

  • SMSF specialist software (eg CLASS, BGL) desirable
