The Congestion Reduction Unit (CRU) is part of Brisbane Infrastructure and is tasked to tackle Brisbane’s road congestion.
In short, the branch identifies problems early and uses creative ways to improve the day-to-day performance of Brisbane’s road network by utilising modern technology to manage traffic flow.
As Operations Support Coordinator your role is to provide operational administrative support to the Congestion Reduction Unit.
You will be responsible for a variety of administrative duties including procurement, filing, records management, document management and control, general correspondence and preparation of operational support documentation, packages and reference material.
In addition you will also coordinate visits and meetings for the Brisbane Metropolitan Transport Management Centre and with our alliance partners including providing dignitary/VIP support.
To be successful in the role you will need to have highly developed administrative and computer skills and demonstrated ability to analyse data, compile reports and presentations.
This is a busy and challenging role requiring well-developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and an innate ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external clients and customers.
