We’re looking for an Accounts Assistant to support our Meetings & Events division in finance processing and debtor management.

Account Assistant
In this exciting role, you’ll work with the events team to manage the accounts receivable and payable processing. You’ll be the point of contact for all month end duties includes journal posting, accrual entries and uploading into SAP BPC.

Using your financial support experience, you’ll own this autonomous role supporting an events team of 7. You’ll monitor, reconcile and follow up outstanding AR, updating the invoice register for receipts received as well as bank reconciliations.

You’ll know all there is about refunds, credits and credit card declines. This role will be responsible for all reporting and ensuring seamless liaison between our events division and BCD travel finance team.

This is a great opportunity to harness your interest in travel while pursuing your passion for finance.

What we’re looking for
You’ll need 2 years of autonomous finance experience with both AP and AR processing to make this role pivotal. If you have experience within a Travel company, that’s a big plus!

SAP experience is not essential however will help you hit the ground running.
