    Newcomb Community Health Centre offers a range of services to the local communities; our Reception Team supports a Multidisciplinary Team that consists of: Podiatry, Physiotherapy, Dietetics, Diabetes Education, Social Work, Psychology and Nursing. Situated a short drive from the Bellarine Peninsula providing a work life balance others will envy.

    About the role

    Provide a warm friendly and professional reception service. Participate in the daily reception/administrative duties and projects as required. Provide relevant and timely service to clients. Undertake the day to day administrative duties including banking, site issues, and data entry.

    This is an exciting part time role where there may be the opportunity for additional hours in accordance with operation requirements.

    Selection Criteria
    Essential: Demonstrated experience in a busy reception, providing clerical, administrative duties in a confidential environment.
    Essential: Computer literacy and skills, including the proficient use of the Internet, Word, Excel, Outlook and information electronic information systems and databases.
    Essential: Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
    Essential: Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
    Essential: Ability to work in a high pressure environment.
    Desirable: Experience in working in a community based organisation.
    Desirable: Skills and knowledge in the use of various computer systems especially in the use of iPiMS or similar health related software applications.
    Desirable: Mature, friendly disposition with a high level of tolerance towards staff members and the general public
