    About the role

    A position has arisen at Barwon Health, Geelong for an Administration Assistant to join our consumer focused and committed, friendly team within a busy and diverse Women’s & Children’s Directorate.

    You will be responsible for the delivery of consumer focused administrative support; by providing high level personal assistance to the Director and Co- Director and efficient and effective administrative and secretarial support to the service Medical Director’s in a confidential environment so as to achieve desired outcomes . You must have excellent communication and computer skills, including the proficient use of the Internet, Word, Excel, Outlook and information electronic information systems and databases. Experience in health care would be an advantage.

    We are currently seeking applications from suitably qualified, experienced Administration Assistants who have a passion for completing quality, patient focused work, with attention to detail.

    Selection Criteria
    Essential: Senior administrative experience working with multiple service division managers
    Essential: Highly developed consumer service skills
    Essential: Advanced secretarial skills
    Desirable: Previous experience in similar position
    Essential: Tertiary training at certificate or higher in Secretarial and/or Business Studies or significant experience in a related field.
    Essential: Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
