Casual opportunity

  • Support the activities of ACU Health Clinics at our North Sydney Campus
  • 14 hours per week until December 2017

    ACU Health Clinics encompass all the student professional practice learning clinics operating within the Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS). The primary purpose of ACU Health Clinics is to provide high-quality, innovative professional learning experiences for FHS students in the context of delivering evidence-based, client-centred health services to the public.

    Engaging with Professional Practice Educators from a range of disciplines, your work will entail:

    • facilitating and evaluating adherence to evidence-based practice
    • establishing, modelling and mentoring clear and consistent standards of professionalism
    • monitoring clinic procedures to ensure compliance with organisational and legislative requirements
    • promoting and strengthening ACU Health Clinics’ relationships to optimise learning opportunities for students.

    You will need:

    • a degree in a relevant Allied Health discipline and eligibility for membership of the relevant professional body
    • demonstrated clinical expertise and the ability to deliver evidence-based practice
    • to be able to demonstrate commitment with integrity to the Catholic Identity, Mission and ethos of the University
    • experience coordinating an organisational unit and familiarity with implementing quality assurance processes.
