3 year fixed term (full time completing 3 year apprenticeship)
The Town has an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our workshop team whilst completing a Mechanic trade certificate over a three year period. The successful applicant will be supported by our knowledgeable team, however will be responsible for the progress of their apprenticeship. Our workshop provides repair and maintenance services to a variety of vehicles, including but not limited to sedans, heavy-rigid trucks, loaders and excavators, as well as machinery for use within our depot operations teams. The apprenticeship will provide exposure to elements such as the repair and servicing of cooling systems, diesel fuel systems, hydraulic systems, air conditioning, engine forced induction systems and clutch assemblies. We are seeking a committed individual who has an interest in or experience working with motor mechanics and is eager and willing to learn.
During the time of engagement, the Apprentice is expected to complete a trade certificate.

Work Related Requirements
The preferred applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol assessment to be considered for the role. Candidates will also be required to possess the relevant qualifications/experience/licences as outlined in the position description.
