Human Resources Officer – Capcoal Surface Operations

We are inviting highly motivated and experienced Human Resource Officers to apply for this exciting opportunity. Reporting to the HR Superintendent, you will provide generalist HR advice and support to line managers and employees at the open cut coal operation. This is a dynamic role that includes providing support across HR in recruitment, learning and development, performance management, remuneration and reward, HR metrics, employee consultation and employee relations.

As the successful candidate, you will hold formal qualifications in Business and/or Human Resources and have a demonstrated ability to manage sensitive and confidential issues. Previous experience within mining/resources or a heavy industry environment is highly desirable but not essential. Being confident in coordinating multiple priorities, good communication skills and displayed ability to deliver on key performance indicators are essential attributes. As a HR generalist you will be need to have the ability to work autonomously in a fast paced environment. A working knowledge of interpreting industrial agreements will be highly regarded.

This is a Monday to Friday, residential role based in Middlemount.
